Expert CCTV Pipeline Inspections in Alexandria, VA

AllGreen Solutions Stormwater Management delivers comprehensive CCTV pipeline inspections for residential, commercial, and municipal drain systems throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland. We insert a camera-equipped crawler into your drain or stormwater pipe and record live, high-definition footage of the interior — showing exactly where blockages, cracks, root intrusions, joint separations, or pipe bellies are located, without guesswork or unnecessary excavation.

Before every CCTV inspection, our crews perform lateral pipe cleaning using high-pressure hydro jetting to remove grease, roots, sediment, and debris that restrict pipe flow. Cleaning laterals prior to inspection ensures a clear, unobstructed view of the pipe's condition, enabling more accurate defect identification and reporting. This step restores system performance, reduces the risk of blockages, and supports proactive maintenance programs. For precise condition assessments, we also deploy advanced laser profiling technology to measure pipe joint offsets, separations, and structural defects without excavation — providing accurate dimensional data to support maintenance planning, rehabilitation decisions, and quality assurance reporting.

Our CCTV systems are equipped with integrated transmitter sondes and surface locators for real-time subsurface utility mapping. While the camera identifies pipe defects, blockages, and cross-bores, our locating equipment simultaneously pinpoints the exact location and depth of underground utilities from above ground — reducing the risk of utility strikes during any subsequent excavation or repair work.

All inspection data is processed and delivered using industry-leading software platforms including Wincan VX Advanced and ITpipes FieldVision, ensuring your reports meet NASSCO PACP/LACP coding standards and are ready for regulatory submission, capital planning, or contractor bidding.

Alexandria properties face specific underground challenges — clay-heavy soils that shift pipes over time, mature street trees sending roots into aging laterals, and stormwater systems that drain directly to local waterways. CCTV inspection gives you a clear, documented picture of pipe condition before you spend money on repairs. Call AllGreen Solutions to schedule your inspection today.

CCTV Pipeline Inspections FAQ

Common questions about cctv pipeline inspections in Alexandria, VA.

A CCTV inspection is the right call when you have recurring drain backups, slow drains across multiple fixtures, or unexplained wet spots in your yard. Alexandria properties with mature trees or pre-1970 clay pipes are especially prone to hidden root intrusion and joint failures.

No digging is needed for the inspection itself. Our crew accesses your pipe through an existing cleanout and feeds the camera through the line to capture footage of the interior.

The camera records live footage of the inside of your drain or stormwater pipe, showing blockages, root intrusions, cracks, corrosion, pipe bellies, and joint separations. That footage tells us exactly what repair, if any, your Alexandria drain system needs.

Yes, CCTV inspection works in clay, cast iron, and other pipe materials found throughout Alexandria's older neighborhoods. It is one of the most reliable ways to assess the condition of aging laterals without disturbing the surrounding soil or hardscape.

Yes, a proactive inspection can catch early-stage cracks or root entry points before they cause a full backup. Many Alexandria homeowners schedule inspections after buying a property or after a heavy storm season to confirm their drain system is structurally sound.

Yes, AllGreen Solutions inspects both stormwater drainage pipes and sanitary drain lines for Alexandria residential and commercial properties. Stormwater pipes that carry runoff toward local waterways like Four Mile Run benefit from the same camera-based condition assessment.

Tommy and John at AllGreen Landscape did an incredible job of designing a new driveway and entrance to our house, as well is helping us find a great pool contractor and doing all the landscaping around it and a new patio. I especially appreciate the fact that their crew has been with them for more than a decade, and they are all great guys. The whole team has worked with us closely to keep it all maintained and looking beautiful.

I’m so incredibly grateful for the breathtaking work AllGreen Solutions did for us and cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They transformed my yard from an overgrown eyesore into a beautiful oasis beyond what I imagined. The crew was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and truly listened to what I wanted. They worked nonstop and paid attention to every detail. I could not be happier with the results and highly recommend them! Thank you AllGreen!

In Sep 2019 AllGreen removed the old timber stair/walkway in my back yard and rebuilt it with a lovely stone structure. The workmanship was outstanding -- from the careful excavation to the reinforced concrete foundation to the carefully finished stone work. Every aspect of the project was handled well -- timely scheduling, thorough cleanup each day, prompt removal of all debris, to careful raking, grading, and seeding at the end. Project Manager Kyle Jansen and foreman Carlos could not have been better to work with or more willing to be helpful. I am extremely pleased!

John Waldron came out to look at our walkway and tree. It turns out the walkway was worse off than we thought. John very carefully explained the problems and possible solutions, providing us with several options. I enjoyed working with him very much. The quote was reasonable, but higher than we planned for the extra things we wanted done. We plan to have the work
