In Sep 2019 AllGreen removed the old timber stair/walkway in my back yard and rebuilt it with a lovely stone structure. The workmanship was outstanding -- from the careful excavation to the reinforced concrete foundation to the carefully finished stone work. Every aspect of the project was handled well -- timely scheduling, thorough cleanup each day, prompt removal of all debris, to careful raking, grading, and seeding at the end. Project Manager Kyle Jansen and foreman Carlos could not have been better to work with or more willing to be helpful. I am extremely pleased!

Expert Stormwater Compliance & Municipal Reporting in Alexandria, VA
Stormwater compliance and municipal reporting in Alexandria, VA involves more than paperwork. Properties here fall under the City's Virginia Erosion and Stormwater Management Program (VESMP) and the MS4 permit framework, which requires documented pollution controls, BMP maintenance records, and annual reporting to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). Alexandria's dense, built-up landscape means impervious surfaces are widespread. Runoff from rooftops, parking lots, and paved areas flows directly into local waterways like Four Mile Run and Cameron Run, and ultimately into the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay. That makes accurate, timely reporting a real regulatory obligation, not a formality. AllGreen Solutions helps property owners, developers, and facility managers in Alexandria stay current with inspection logs, BMP performance documentation, and DEQ reporting requirements. We track what the City needs, prepare compliant records, and flag issues before they become violations. Call us to schedule a compliance review for your Alexandria property.

Stormwater Compliance & Municipal Reporting FAQ
Common questions about stormwater compliance & municipal reporting in Alexandria, VA.
Yes, Alexandria property owners with stormwater management facilities are required to maintain inspection and maintenance records. The City enforces these requirements under its MS4 program and VESMP regulations.
An MS4 report documents the pollution control measures used to meet the City of Alexandria's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System permit conditions. If your property has a BMP or stormwater facility tied to a development or redevelopment project, reporting obligations likely apply.
Failing a stormwater inspection in Alexandria can result in a stop-work order or fines for illicit discharge. Keeping current inspection logs and maintenance records is the most direct way to stay in good standing.
The City of Alexandria submits its own MS4 annual report to DEQ, but individual property owners must maintain their own BMP and facility records to support that process. AllGreen Solutions prepares and organizes those property-level records for Alexandria clients.
Alexandria administers its own VESMP program and enforces requirements tied to both state VSMP regulations and Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area rules. Construction projects disturbing as little as 2,500 square feet require a City-approved pollution prevention plan.
Alexandria requires property owners to keep stormwater facilities in working order, and local governments typically require at least annual inspections by a qualified professional. AllGreen Solutions handles scheduling, documentation, and reporting for Alexandria property owners.
